Other things to note
Depending on the days of the week you are staying at Sunshine Escape, you may experience, general maintenance workers around the exterior of the property that may include, lawn, pool, or utility service workers.
Additionally, the Property Manager will provide you with instruction for ensuring the waste and recycle containers are taken to the roadside on their assigned pick-up days.
Anytime there is an issue that a repair professional needs to enter the property during your stay, the property manager will provide you with details. This type of situation is rare.
There are 2 security cameras located on the front of the garage and the front of the home by entrance. This is for your safety and security.
Although this home has a beautiful view of the canal, the canal is not accessible to guests.

December-12 2024We had a wonderful stay with our family of 10. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices, coffee filters, paper towels etc.. Plenty of pool and beach toys, chairs and beach towels for a day at the beach. Easy drive to Fort Meyers beach and Sanibel Island (Both within 15 minutes). The heated pool area is beautiful and we spent most of our time out on the patio. The owner reached out several times to make sure things were going well and was responsive to all of our questions. Would recommend this home!

Since we cooked most of our own meals, the large well-stocked kitchen was perfect. We LOVED the pool! Looking forward to making a return visit in the future.

Not too far from Fort Myers Beach, and not too far from downtown Fort Myers! The host was quick to respond, and was very accommodating to whatever we needed. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures, in my opinion. and there are so many private entrances to the house so everyone could come and go as they please without disturbing others. When inside, you can barely hear what’s going on at the pool. So there are no issues if you need some quiet time just a few feet away. They have anything and everything you could need in the kitchen, bathrooms and pool area. Everyone thought the beds would very comfortable. And a dream come true with a tv and a fan in every bedroom! 5 stars all around.

March-13 2025We rented this house so we could be close to where our son was getting married, the Marriott at Sanibel Harbor. It was one of the best Airbnb‘s I’ve ever rented. It’s set up beautifully for a large group with two beds in several rooms. There are TVs, luggage racks, and fans in every bedroom. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other four bedrooms on the other. You can access the pool area from one of the bathrooms, which is very convenient. We loved hanging out by the pool that had several different areas to gather and even a large TV outside for us to watch the NCAA basketball tournament. We had planned to do a lot of cooking at the house and the kitchen was extremely well set up to do this. They even had a mini fridge in the kitchen, to keep our extra beverages chilled. When in the kitchen, you have a beautiful view of the backyard which feels nicely secluded. I contacted the owner one time during the day and they were very responsive. Overall , 5 plus stars!!!

The person who creates the listing must be a residing guest for the entire stay.
No parking is allowed except in the driveway (4 vehicle maximum).

Moving furniture is not allowed. All furnishings must remain in their original position at all times.
BBQ Grill must remain in its original place and not be moved. Grill must be cleaned by guest after use and the propane must be turned off. There will be a $35 extra fee deducted from the security deposit if grill is left dirty or the propane is left on.
All garbage and waste must be properly disposed of in designated containers.
Guest agrees to treat the property with care and maintain a safe and clean environment during their stay.
Guest will notify the property associates immediately of any damages that may occur.
Guest will notify property associates immediately of any breakdowns of property systems or appliances that may need repair.
Guests are not allowed to attempt repair of any property contents or systems.
No candles allowed on property.
There is no direct access to the canal allowed.
All reservations are subject to owner screening and approval before they become final. This will occur within 24 hours of the booking.
- If we find you have brought an unauthorized pet onto the property without approval, you will be charged a non-refundable pet fee of $500.
This is a home in a residential neighborhood. Loud music or loud/disruptive guests are now allowed. Noise complaints from the neighbors may be grounds for your reservation to be canceled. Refunds paid based on the cancellation policy.
If you have a stay that is 3 weeks or longer, we require a mid-stay clean for you and your guests. This will be an additional cleaning fee. This will include a full refresh of towels, linens and clean of the home.
